Coordinate with operations teams to prepare and distribute monthly client statements in accordance with established service level agreements. Manage several project-based initiatives including returned mail processing, workflow enhancement and regulatory reporting. Support & develop (as time permits) various reports and automation tools for Salt Lake City departments.

Realized a 38% decrease in returned client statements by developing and imlementing a new Access-based management system.

Provided metrics and analytical support to operations management. Worked extensively with Microsoft Access and Excel developing tools to automate and improve existing processes, save time and reduce operating costs.

Automation projects implemented during this timeframe resulted in an annual savings of approximately $200,000.

Developed and instructed a 4-hr Access training workshop for Goldman employees.

Responsible for planning air operations in Utah, Idaho and Las Vegas. Supervised an operation at the Salt Lake International Airport. Responsible for 30 hourly employees and 40 vendor employees.

Developed a database system for tracking and analyzing ad-hoc aircraft flights and their associated costs. Used to determine if (or when) different aircraft types are needed. Used company-wide.

Instructed database development courses designed to introduce students to relational database design and implementation. Topics included data analysis, relational modeling, SQL programming, optimization techniques and database administration.

Developed curriculum for a 10-week database course including lecture materials, student assignments and lab activities.

Contributed to the planning of air and hub operations in Utah, Idaho and Las Vegas. Performed tasks such as: volume forecasting, work measurement, schedule maintenance, holiday and contingency planning, process analysis, and the creation of master operating plans.

Created an Access tool to project package volume for sort operations. Increased forecast proficiency to over 95%. Utilized by operations company-wide.

Designed and implemented custom database reporting systems using Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Visual Basic. Executed ad-hoc and data mining requests from various departments and functions.

Developed a back-end system to feed an online "Balanced Scorecard" reporting application. Used daily by operations to track and improve upon key business elements.

Created a data warehouse using SQL Server. Currently houses several million records, providing numerous departments with critical information previously unavailable.

Created an online inventory tracking system. Used to track and manage all computer hardware and software in Utah and Idaho.

Developed an online testing system used to determine the skill level of job applicants.

Developed a database tool for tracking airport employee skills and their required training and certifications. Adopted for use company-wide.
